New Polishes from Maya Cosmetics!

Hiiiii! Remember how I said I have some great stuff to show you? Here is the first set!

I honestly have not read all the new FTC rules or whatever as they seem so silly but I think one of them is I need to tell you BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER that the polishes I am about to show you, I was sent by the company for my honest, unbiased review. I did not pay for these and I won’t make any money off you buying them. OK? OK! :) Let’s go see them!

These launched March 7th and you can buy them from Maya Cosmetics’ website for $9.50 each.

First, we have Demure, which is a warm pink jelly with copper shimmer. This leaned more peach on me, I felt. I liked it as I am slowly warming up to peaches thanks to Amanda, but I do wish the shimmer showed up a BIT more. Then again, I am a glitter ho :) I wore this one day when I had this big presentation at work and I thought it looked very classy. Three thin, but easy to apply coats:

Demeure

There is a tiny bit of VNL but I did not see it as much in person.

Next up, Deuces. Um, one of my FAVES. Period. A gorgeous chartreuse with a scattered holo. Kat, the owner let me know she felt this was best with 3 thin coats. I agree! The first coat was a bit splotchy but everything evened out after.

I had a bit of cuticle pooling but I think it was from my own rushing. Go slow and you will be fine :)

Blue Flavor is blue-violet with lighter blue and hot pink micro-flakes. I love the addition of the pink flakies. Subtle but when the light hits, it is stunning. A great blurple that can be a little thick if you go too quickly, but worth it if you go with thinner coats. 2 coats.

Blue Flavor

Envy is emerald green, teal, and silver holo micro glitter in a sheer teal base. I of course wore this for ST. Pat’s day and several days after! I am not a green fan usually but the bling on this is so amazing I fell in love! Kat mentions you can skip the topcoat if you are into those textured polishes! It was super easy to apply and no base polish needed.

Envy

Turbo Classy is a nude with silver shimmer and taupe/pink micro flakes. Honestly this was the least favorite for me. I love nudes and I love nudes with shimmer or glitter, but this is not the right nude for my skintone. Of course, that is not applicable to everyone! It applied easily. If the flakies settle, a good shake will fix it right up! 2 coats.

Turbo Classy

Last, but certainly not least, comes Fat Monday - black, gold holo, fuchsia, and aqua blue glitter in a purple base. I put this over Blue Flavor and it was ALL WIN.

So what do you think? For me, Deuces, Envy, and Fat Monday were all big thumbs up for me!

Maya Cosmetics sells these for $9.50 each here!

What do you think of this collection?

Thanks so much for reading! xotara
